Ephesians 3: 20-21

Right now I'm going to talk about how I knew for the first time that God was going to do something absolutely amazing with my life. Every year I used to go to a huge youth rally in the south of Ontario. The first year I ever went was in eighth grade and naturally, at a younger age you do get pretty nervous about leaving home, even for a short period of time. I was sitting in bed at my cousin's house when I was thinking about it so much that I was starting to make myself sick. She knew as well as I did how nervous I was and made me read out a bible verse over and over again. This verse is Ephesians 3: 20-21. "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly then all that we ask or think according to the power that works within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever, Amen." For a reason that only God knows, those verses instantly calmed me down. The next day after a very long drive, we arrived at the community center that was to be used for this rally. As I sat down and the first night officialy started, I looked up onto the giant screen at the front of the room and amazingly it was the exact verses that I had been reading the night before and the entire way there. Even more amazingly, every sermon and speech that weekend was based on those verses. Some people would call this simply a coincidence. I call it God's work.
Moral of the story, God will do great things for you if you let him. Imagine what a weekend I would have missed if I wouldn't have read those verses and ended up not going. I now keep those verses everywhere, in my locker, on my walls, in my wallet. It's something. like God, that will always give me strength.
God Bless!
